This quote is very true. It goes to that one time they catched a baseball team for signing players that weren't in their boundaries. You always gotta show character on and off the field. If you don't show character then you will get the respect from people on the field and people watching around. Dale Murphy always showed character no matter what. He hit over 300 home runs, 398 home runs be exact. People will always respect him because he respected players as well. So this shows that character really does matter
